A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has surpassed over one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in just one news eu parliament month. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Full details about the campaign can be found here: Italy’s Drug Prevention Campaign Surpasses One Million Booklets Distributed in One Month.
